Introducing "The Huntsman's Courtship", a print after an original painting by artist Samuel Edmund Waller (English, 1850 - 1903). Waller was an artist whom focused his work on genre pictures. This classic composition depicts a huntsman in his red coat and black riding hat mounted on a beautiful brown horse with dogs to his left. The huntsman can be seen raising his whip to greet a lady whom can be seen raising her arm in greeting the huntsman whom is seen racing past. A black cat can be seen just on the street side of the gate. This large scale art print is presented in a burgundy matting with gilt finished trim within a red mahogany stained frame.
This is a vintage piece with wear to the frame and some discoloration of the matting, but overall in good condition. Please review all photos carefully for condition.
